This year's soccer season has come to an end.
As usual, I feel a mixture of relief for a break and sadness. It always feels like it is over just when they are taking it to the next level.

i agree, the end of one season tends to come just when it feels like the kids are ready to reach the next skill level.
I love soccer in the fall! It's such a good excuse to get outside.

That is so nice your parents came for the game. I hate that my parents live far away enough that they don't make it to any of my kids games unless they happen to be in town.
I always feel the same way as you with it being over. Usually the relief wins out over the sad though.
I hate it when it's over....so I got suckered into indoor soccer as soon as our Fall season ended two weeks ago. But you're right, it always ends just as they start working together well as a team.
I always have mixed feelings when a sports season comes to an end too, but then it's really nice not to have any obligations for awhile too. Whitney finished basketball last Saturday so we're sports-free until Landon starts basketball in January.
Our last game is today at 11:45 a.m. We had our end-of-season party last night. So much going on! Carly is a cutie pie. I can't wait to hear what she is up to next!
