I've never done one of these, but I think I know what they are - - - two years ago one of my students made her cell project out of that stuff, I still have them on display in my room.
I DO remember doing another kind of melty art back in my day. It involved scraping crayons onto wax paper, covering the scrapings with another sheet of wax paper, and then melt-gluing them together with a warm iron. They were pretty cool projects too!!
My kids are addicted to Perler beads. Your posts remind me that I need to replenish the supply. We'll need some for those days when it's just too hot to play outside!

I remember doing those as a kid. They were so fun and now as a parent, they would keep the kids entertained forever. Win-win. Good craft!

Those girls are serious about that craft! Looks like fun!
Is this the stuff you have to iron? How do you feel about it? Do you let them do it themselves?
