It was an absolutely perfect day to go to the fair. The sun was shining, the temperature was right at 70 degrees, and there was a little breeze. And, amazingly enough there was not a crowd. It was a perfect first fair for Carly. We took her friend Miss MM and they had so much fun.
They rode all the oldies but goodies....Tilt-a-Whirl, Gravitron, Himalaya. And, even some twice. Carly and I were talking about some of the rides. Carly asked, "You've ridden that before?". I told her that I hated to tell her that those rides had been around for over 25 years. And, that might be the exact same Gravitron that I rode when I went to the fair at her age!
They rode the tornado, then a ride that takes you straight up and drops you at varying intervals, a slide that you rode on a piece of burlap, and went through a fun house.
They rode the Ferris wheel.
Then Kenny went with them on the Freak Out. Carly initially said she wasn't going. Then her Daddy said he would ride with Miss MM since she wanted to ride. Carly changed her mind. I, on the other hand, could not even watch the ride because I thought I might have a heart attack.

I just love the fair and seems like you did also. glad Kenny stepped up! the only thing you left out was the fair food list--corn dogs, cotton candy and such.
Love the fair! I don't think I'll ever outgrow it. Or the food. :-)
Those girls are dare devils to go on those rides!
I'd have been grounded with you, Kim Sue.
I do enjoy a good fair, though.
looks so fun! i think it's heading our way this week. eager to see what john camp will be interested in riding this year. love those oldies but goodies too.
So much fun! I love rides like that. Looks like it was a perfect day.
It's easier to do those spinny rides when you're young!
Looks like tons of fun!
