Don't you just love them? One of my students brought me a magnolia blossom the other day and I kept it right by my desk all day. It was just divine.

That is incredible. Some day I want to go to the South. Some day I want to see a magnolia tree (or is it bush? my ignorance is showing).
Jane - it is a tree. In fact, Mississippi's state tree and flower.
