Carly has made friends with a little girl in the beach house next door. She is delighted to have a buddy to play with. All us grown-ups can be a little bit of a drag. They have spent hours in the ocean on boogie-boards and swimming. Tonight we have one tired little girl.

How nice for both of you that she found a friend. I love it when Luci and Griffin do that. Even at the pool, I always hope they make a new friend or find a familiar classmate so that they can play while I sit by the poool and watch/read.
Oh, I meant to say thank you for your sweet note that was waiting for me amidst all of the bills when I returned home from D.C.
You are so thoughtful and you're right, I should think of this as a good time to purge unwanted clutter and not just dread the packing! We close tomorrow and movers come this weekend.
HOw fun to get away to a beach house! I really miss living by the beach, most of the time. I am so glad Carly made a friend, that helps so much!
