2012: week31

I always say when Carly starts a sport's season

that it takes over our lives.

We all love it, but it is wearing me out!

Although it might be the 100+ degree temperatures,

rather than the actual practice that is wearing us down.

I can't even describe how bad Carly's laundry basket smells!

Saturday is the first game...actually 3 games

9:00, 12:00 and 3:00.

What we need:  tent, lawn chairs, sunscreen, a cooler full of drinks

and some way to plug in a big shop fan!

2012 : week 29

Softball started this week.

They will practice Monday - Friday

3:00 to 5:00.

We thought it would be HOT,

but instead it was rain, rain, and rain.

The first 2 practices were held inside the gym.

Softball inside the gym is interesting.

Day 3 practice was cancelled because of more rain,

and the basketball team was using the gym.

So, instead we went to the batting cage and hit.

But no worries, I'm sure it will be HOT next week!

One of my favorite weeks of the year -

beach week!

I'm not sure how long I could be a beach bum

but I know I really enjoy a week of it!
