book character parade

{each year Carly's school has a book character parade
Carly got another wear out of her olympic gymnast costume
yes I know, no Halloween at school, but costumes the week after
don't think the irony is lost on me}
{all the kids come dressed as a character from a book -
some costumes are really simple and some very creative}

{Carly with her friends...oh, I mean 2 Nancy Drews}

{Carly's 3rd grade class}

Carly doesn't get to dress up for Halloween? How sad. I am glad they get to dress up as book characters. Very interesting..

I think she totally looks like a gymnast!

She has the prettiest skin ever. It's so olive-y. What a lucky girl!

You know (us) teachers! We'll get around that silly "No Halloween" thing somehow!! I agree with Shar. Carly has the most beautiful skin! She's really going to be thankful for those genes one day! :)

I know, it's comical to me too - Luci and Griffin's school has a "fall" party the day before halloween (DUHHH!) and then character dress up day on Halloween, but they claim it has nothing to do with Halloween.
